As president of the Firecrackers, I could not be more thankful of the cultural life that all of you bring to the Firecracker name. If you haven’t noticed by now, we have a definite company culture. Actually, it’s extremely important that everyone in the organization understands how important our culture is and how it relates to your success.
It starts with treating each other within the organization with respect at all times. Through the good times and especially through the rough ones. It’s also expected that we as an organization treat others outside of ours with that same respect.
At this point in our growth, I can say that we have experienced all the normal bumps in the road, but honestly I couldn’t be happier with the overall effort of the people within the Firecracker Nation. On the whole I see a lot of people working together, and I receive a lot of compliments from other clubs, parents, and also umpires on good honorable conduct from our teams.
Good behavior often goes unnoticed, but not with FC Inc. We have been, and will continue to be successful on paper. But without the Firecracker culture, the most important ingredient would be gone. That ingredient is that we respect and make people feel good. We compete with everything we have on the field, but we leave it on the field.
We expect our teams to remember this especially during the most intense part of our season, the summer championship season. Dignity and honor are the lifeblood that gets our players through the toughest of times. Use the power of our culture to your advantage and enjoy every step of this crazy softball ride!
